Miami Beach

“America’s Riviera”miami beach

A place of its own, the city of Miami Beach is a barrier island of over 7 miles, connected to the mainland city of Miami by a series of bridges over the beautiful Biscayne Bay.  Going back several decades it has been a tourist mecca.  From  the 1950s when the Rat Pack frequented the classy hotels to the 80s cigarrete boats and the birth of “Miami Vice”, showing the world what Miami was all about.  Now it’s a fashion and entertainment capital, playground for celebrities and oasis for travelers.  It’s become the ultimate vacation destination.

You can enjoy the beautiful beach and tropical climate reveling in the historic art deco architecture.  There are multicultural influences, promoting the arts and entertainment with multiple museums, dance companies and musical performances.  It boasts fantastic world class shopping including designer boutiques and the famous Lincoln Road Mall, an outdoor shopping venue with fabulous open air restaurants.  Speaking of restaurants there are too many to name, from famed 5 star locations to the hidden local secret spots.  Miami Beach is known for its pulsating nightlife where the hottest locations change from year to year.  It’s a place to see and be seen.

There is a variety of attractions, something for everyone.  Real estate is a mixture of luxury homes and condos to more affordable studio-type apartments.  Most people living in the beach prefer to walk or ride a bike as their main mode of transportation, there is definitely a particular lifestyle that comes with living on the beach.
