“The Quintessential Suburb of Miami”
The Village of Pinecrest Florida was incorporated in 1996 and is recognized as one of the most beautiful residential areas in South Florida. The village is conveniently located twenty minutes from downtown Miami and Miami International Airport. Originally Henry Flagler had an outpost here as he coordinated efforts for the overseas railroad to the Florida Keys. In the 1930s Parrot Jungle and Gardens was founded which significantly increased tourism to the area. During the 1950s and 1960s this suburb really began to grow with the construction of ranch style single family homes on acre lots. This neighborhood is a coveted area complete with beautiful natural surroundings. It’s family friendly and has fantastic schools, which for many, is the number one reason to move here.
