Picture it—you’re home from a long day at the office. You take your shoes off, get comfortable and you head to your new condo’s balcony to take in some fresh air and you are met with a stunning view of the ocean or the sunsetting over Miami.
Sounds nice, right? It can be real. Here are five of the best areas in Miami for a condo with a view.
Located at the northern tip of Miami Beach, Bal Harbour packs a lot of extravagance into its one square mile location. Noted for its wide variety of luxury shopping, it’s the views that’ll really take your breath away. To the east you have the Atlantic ocean, but you can’t beat facing west and seeing the downtown Miami skyline at night.
Located just north of downtown Miami, both these neighborhoods have their own unique character. Wynwood has had a bustling art scene for years but has also grown up. From a condo’s terrace, you’ll probably be able to see local graffiti art as well as some of the best restaurants in the world.
Edgewater, on the other hand, is a more quiet, residential waterfront neighborhood. Don’t mistake us, though—there’s still your fair share of nightlife and entertainment. And as waterfront property, Edgewater condos can look out over Biscayne Bay, giving you calming water views right at your balcony.
Coconut Grove is the oldest neighborhood in Miami and boasts a perfect walkability score. It has great views of Biscayne Bay, the Miami skyline, and sunset. There’s a reason the Grove has been an in-demand neighborhood for decades.
Located just across the Rickenbacker Causeway from the Grove, Brickell, and Downtown Miami, Key Biscayne absolutely brings the luxurious condo views (with plenty to do in the area). The Key features two waterfront parks, golf courses, and some of the best access to the water in Miami. There’s plenty to do (and see) when you move down to the Key (we didn’t rhyme that on purpose).
Most of the condos with a view in the Gables are in Downtown Coral Gables and are in walking distance to all kinds of entertainment. There are clear views of sunset and downtown Miami, but not-so-much on the views of the Atlantic or Biscayne Bay.
