Holidays Miami Style

We keep tabs on things going on all over Miami, so if you’re looking for some holiday fun we can help you out. We might not have a white Christmas, but Miami knows how to celebrate the season.

Let The Kern Team be Your Guide to Local Holiday Events

Christmas on 15th Avenue

Everyone loves a parade and this one has been bringing the holiday cheer to the heart of Miami for 16 years now. The parade starts at 11am on December 16th, but if you want to find the best viewing spot we recommend getting there early. Lights, food, music, and even get some face time and a photo with the big guy himself. That’s right, Santa will be there! If the parade part isn’t your scene, just head out a little later to enjoy the rest of the festival – plenty of vendors, entertainment, and holiday fun for the whole family.

Jingle All the Way Run

Want to start your Christmas weekend off right? If you’re a runner, or just a walker with ambition, the Christmas Jingle All the Way Run is perfect for you. This Bed to 5K event celebrates new runners. Register early so you don’t miss out! Bring the whole family, all ages are welcome.

Magical Candlelight Concerts

Simply called “Candlelight” this series of concerts has traveled around the world and has arrived here in Miami. Experience live music in an unexpected, and unique way. Each one features a theme and is staged in a different location. Whether you want to see Holiday Soul and Jazz or selections from “The Nutcracker” you’ll find a date and location that will suit you. Better yet, see both!

Old Cutler Presbyterian Church

Old Cutler Presbyterian Church is offering multiple Christmas Eve services to allow everyone to attend no matter what other family traditions you’ll be enjoying. They will have a morning service at 10:30am. If you want to experience their candlelight service you have two opportunities: 5:00 pm or 7:00 pm. Programs for kids aged 5 and under will be available during the 5:00 pm service.
