Our Favorite Date Night Restaurants In Pinecrest and Coral Gables

Valentine’s Day is one of the many days of the year when you’re particularly thankful to live in Miami. The Magic City is known for its plethora of romantic restaurants and wide range of cuisines from all over the world.

With so many restaurants to choose from, finding the perfect spot for you and your partner can be a challenge. That’s why we’ve curated this list of some of our favorite date night restaurants in Miami, all of which feature delicious food and an exceptionally romantic ambiance.

Without further ado, here’s where to spend Valentine’s Day with your partner this year:

Luca Osteria

A boutique Italian restaurant in the heart of Coral Gables, Luca Osteria sets the mood with dark floors, whitewashed ceilings, and Scandi-style furniture. The restaurant also distinguishes itself with its unique and savory sauces like the famed nduja, which is a few levels above your run-of-the-mill marinara.

Fogo de Chao

You can’t go wrong with internationally-renowned Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chao. Their Gables location features an open-air churrasco bar, where guests can watch gaucho chefs prepare savory cuts meat over an open flame. After dinner, guests can head to the mezzanine level to the Next Level Lounge for craft cocktails, premium liquor, and an intimate setting your partner will love.

CVI.CHE 105 Coral Gables

One of the most famous Peruvian restaurants around today, CVI.CHE 105 is known for its vast selection of ceviche as well as traditional seafood and nikkei, a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian culinary techniques. Though their spot in the Gables is CVI.CHE 105’s fifth location, its interior was recently re-designed to offer a uniquely romantic and refined experience that pays tribute to the Inca culture.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar

Despite all the options around, sometimes you just want to keep it simple. It’s hard to beat a nice cut of steak paired with the perfect glass of wine. If simple and elegant is what you’re looking for, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar has you covered.

Platea

For the very best in fine dining, look no further than Platea Miami. Dishes range from foie gras dressed with orange passion fruit aju Amarillo and balsamic pearls to pan-seared bass with tomato ragu, brown butter (yes, brown, it’s amazing) and lemon foam. Do you want to be able to say you ate at a restaurant that regularly draws Michelin attention? Then nab a reservation at Platea, which is run by a Master Chef of the esteemed Le Cordon Bleu in France.

La Vida Misma

La Vida Misma is an Argentinian and Italian fusion restaurant that makes every single dish from scratch, whether it’s tapas, empanadas, pasta or risotto. Many guests opt for La Vida Misma’s signature dish – La Milanese – because it comes in 18 different varieties, and can be prepared with beef, chicken, fish, or pork.

Mamey Miami

Located within the THesis Hotel Miami, Mamey offers a dining experience that perfectly complements the hotel’s vibrant yet soothing atmosphere. The interior is a brilliant display of Miami’s signature tropical aesthetic, while executive Chef Nicolas Mazier invites you to enjoy a fusion of cuisines from Latina America, Asia, and America.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet romantic dinner or an exciting night on the town, we’ve got you covered with these options. On behalf of the Kern Team, Happy Valentine’s Day!
