Our Favorite Miami Date Night Spots

Love is in the air, with Valentine’s Day around the corner this seemed like a good time to talk about some of our favorite Miami date night spots. The beauty of Miami is that the winter is perfect for outdoor dining. Take a look at our picks, and let us know if you have a great date spot we’ve missed.

Romance Under the Stars

Bayshore Club

While we will forever miss Scotty’s Landing, there’s no reason to hold that against the new restaurant in the same spot. They have a robust raw bar in addition to a seafood-first menu. And don’t forget – you can skip the roads and take the boat in.

Juvia

Even with all the additions to Miami’s restaurant scene over the past few years, Juvia is still arguably the number one Instagram worthy restaurant in town (which is half of the point of the date night, right?).

The panoramic view of the city from their garden terrace located in the heart of Miami Beach is as stunning as always. They offer a selection of specialty cocktails in addition to standard bar options. If you haven’t been: their cuisine is a fusion of French, Japanese, and Peruvian flavors will make for a memorable and unique meal with your date.

Valentine’s Day Concert at Deering Estate

The “Moonlight & Music” Valentine’s Day Concert at the Deering Estate offers couples and friends the opportunity to celebrate their love at an outdoor concert under the stars on Wednesday evening, February 14, 2024. Guests can pack a picnic, preorder food or purchase food when they arrive, then settle into their lawn chair or cozy up on a blanket and enjoy the sounds of this year’s featured artist, Melina Soochan (Jazz, Pop & Soul), with an opening performance by Samantha Natalie. You can purchase tickets here.

Coastal Classy

Amara at Paraiso

A restaurant so worthy for a date night they even have a page on their website dedicated to marriage proposals can’t be left out of this list. Michael Schwartz is an institution and the ambiance at Amara will never disappoint.

La Mar

If you’re looking for the best views of Brickell with a great Peruvian menu, La Mar at the Mandarin Oriental dine is the only option.

Here are a few more of our top choices for those south!

Noma Beach

Enjoy your meal from the only waterfront restaurant in Coral Gables. Chef Adrianne Calvo created a delectable menu blending new American seafood with fish house classics. Noma actually has a special 2024 Valentine’s Day menu that you can check out here.

Alaine’s Osteria

Freshly made and authentic ingredients. This is one of the best and most genuine fine Italian dining experiences. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the wild mushroom scallop risotto is heavenly.

Two Chefs

One of the best restaurants in Miami for local and seasonal food, Two Chefs custom curates weekly menus as well as signature dishes. Watch them closely as Valentine’s Day approaches to see what they’re cooking up for the special night.

There are literally dozens of more options, and they span across all budgets.

You can choose upscale and exclusive, or beachy and casual. Diversity and a variety of options is one of the best things about Miami. Our neighborhoods and real estate options are just as varied as our restaurants and entertainment. We’re good for a few recommendations for date nights, but The Kern Team are experts at South Florida real estate. If you’re in the market to buy or sell we can help – let’s talk about it.
