Geography

Geographically speaking, SW 112^th St is the unofficial border between North and South Pinecrest. Pinecrest’s north side is closer to the Gables, South Miami, and Dadeland. Thanks to its proximity to Dadeland and Downtown Gables, North Pinecrest has easier access to myriad options for dining, shopping, and nightlife.

Real Estate 

North Pinecrest is largely composed of luxury homes that have been built fairly recently. These properties command prices comparable to the Gables due to their acreage and expansive homes. 

On the South side of SW 112^th St, you’ll still find plenty of luxury new builds, but there are more of the Pinecrest single story ranch-style homes of yesteryear.
