I have mentioned in previous posts how much I enjoy shopping local. Supporting our locally owned businesses is an important way to help local economies. Local farmer’s markets are becoming more popular and are a great way to find a wide shopping selection from local sellers for all needs and budgets all in one place. Whether you’re shopping for dinner ingredients or a unique or custom gift option a farmer’s market is a great place to find it. One of my favorites is the Coral Reef Farmer’s Market. The month of November was certainly an important one for the Pinecrest real estate market. The average price per square foot was $288.00 last month. This is the highest price per square foot we have seen in the last 15 months. There were only 25 new listings in Pinecrest in the month of November. This is the lowest number of homes we have seen hit the market since December of last year. With low inventory and high price per square foot, we are in a seller’s market. Interested in selling? The BNI Charity Golf Tournament that took place in October was a HUGE success! A big thank you to all of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and all of those who donated, we could not have done this without you. All of our proceeds go to Big City Mountaineers, a non-profit organization that works to transform the lives of under-served urban youth through wilderness mentoring expeditions. I previously wrote about this organization in September, (please click here to read). We were able to donate over $23,000.00 to Big City Mountaineers! These donations will go directly to helping our youth, many of them Miami natives. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you all there next year!
