I have mentioned in previous posts how much I enjoy shopping local. Supporting our locally owned businesses is an important way to help local economies. Local farmer’s markets are becoming more popular and are a great way to find a wide shopping selection from local sellers for all needs and budgets all in one place. Whether you’re shopping for dinner ingredients or a unique or custom gift option a farmer’s market is a great place to find it. One of my favorites is the Coral Reef Farmer’s Market. If you are looking for something to do on Sunday mornings and afternoons, you might want to take some time to explore the Pinecrest Gardens’ Farmer’s Market. Now open year round, every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., you will find all sorts of vendors set up. Fresh produce, spices, all things organic, and even guest artists set up shop to sell to their goods. Wonderful and fresh vegetables, jams, and honey have all made their way through this market.
