It is that time of year, again! The 11th Annual BNI Miami-Dade Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Big City Mountaineers is just around the corner. The tournament will take place on Friday, September 20, 2013, at the historic Biltmore golf course. Lunch begins at 12:00 P.M., followed by a shotgun start, 18-hole scramble at 1:00 P.M. The cocktail reception and silent auction will begin at 6:00 P.M. We are still accepting golfers, silent auction items, and donations. We hope to see everyone there! I have quite a few well-qualified buyers interested in purchasing homes in the Village of Palmetto Bay. The problem we have: a lack of inventory, (meaning active listings). In February of this year, we saw the lowest number of single family homes for sale than in any month over the last year. There were only 77 homes for sale in the Village of Palmetto Bay last month, compared to 111 homes for sale in February of 2012. The 62nd Annual Beaux Arts Festival will be taking place this weekend, January 19-20, 2013 at the Lowe Art Museum, on the University of Miami campus. The festival will be open from 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors will view pieces from over 200 juried exhibitors from around the world, live music, delicious dining options, as well as free admission to the Lowe Art Museum.
