Last month, the Village of Pinecrest saw the lowest number of homes for sale than it has in any month in over a year. There were 111 single family homes for sale in Pinecrest in November. Students, teachers and garden club members used over 900 feet of garland, 600 yards of ribbons, and thousands of ornaments, (all hand-made), to decorate the homes on the Deering Estate. Last month we saw a couple of very positive things happen in the Village of Palmetto Bay real estate market. With the lowest number of homes for sale in over a year, that would have already been a great time for sellers to consider listing their home, but that’s not all. The Village of Palmetto Bay also had the most number of homes placed under contract than any other month in the last year. The average price per square foot in Miami Dade-County has increased 19.6 % in the last 12 months. Of that, average prices in Dade-County have increased 9.1 % in just the last month!
