Village of Palmetto Bay Market Update

Last month we saw a couple of very positive things happen in the Village of Palmetto Bay real estate market. With the lowest number of homes for sale in over a year, that would have already been a great time for sellers to consider listing their home, but that’s not all. The Village of Palmetto Bay also had the most number of homes placed under contract than any other month in the last year. With 34 homes under contract in October alone, that left only 90 homes available to purchase in all of the Village of Palmetto Bay. Seller’s, this is proof it’s a great time to sell. Interested in purchasing a home, or wondering what your home might be […]

BNI Charity Golf Tournament Update

The BNI Charity Golf Tournament that took place in October was a HUGE success! A big thank you to all of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and all of those who donated, we could not have done this without you. All of our proceeds go to Big City Mountaineers, a non-profit organization that works to transform the lives of under-served urban youth through wilderness mentoring expeditions. I previously wrote about this organization in September, (please click here to read). We were able to donate over $23,000.00 to Big City Mountaineers! These donations will go directly to helping our youth, many of them Miami natives. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you all there next year!

I Will Survive: Bald, Brave, and Beautiful

I had a wonderful opportunity recently to participate in an event to bring awareness to Miami Children’s Hospital’s “Bald, Brave, Beautiful” project. The goal of this project is to raise funds to help find a cure and provide hope to children with cancer. Grammy Award-winning artist, Gloria Gaynor, rewrote the words to her iconic song I Will Survive in support of this wonderful project. Gloria Gaynor even traveled to Miami Children’s Hospital in September to record the revised song, and film the music video. The participants in the music video include current or past patients, their families, and Miami Children’s Hospital employees. Please feel free to share the video, and spread the word that “kids and chemo should not go […]

Remembering September 11th

On a day of remembrance, it is moving to see the respect and admiration our firefighters in the Riviera Fire Department, in Coral Gables, have for the fallen and those affected on September 11th, 2001. To our neighbors across the street from EWM Coral Gables at the Riviera Fire Department, we thank you for lifting our spirits today, and for all that you do. As Americans, we will never forget that day, and we move forward together with a stronger pride in our country.
